Permits and authority coordination in South Florida
South Florida fire marshal coordination is straightforward in most cities. Boynton Beach, Boca Raton, and Delray Beach run through their respective city fire departments with 30-day lead times. Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood require slightly longer lead times for waterfront shows due to USCG coordination.

Lead time
