Frequently Asked Questions

We talk in depth with all our clients before, during, and after a show. These are the questions we hear most, the answers we’d give you on the phone, written down so you can read them before the call. If your question isn’t here, send it our way and we’ll answer plainly. Get in touch.

Booking

How far in advance do I need to book?

Florida permits run thirty to ninety days depending on the jurisdiction. Most weddings book three to six months out. Most municipal contracts are signed three to six months ahead of the holiday. Over-water shows and shows in jurisdictions with additional authorities (for example, Coast Guard coordination, or in the Keys, Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary clearance) need more lead time, budget at least sixty days. Earlier is always better.

How do I request a quote?

The fastest path is the form on our contact page or a call to (561) 210-5176. We need your event date, venue (or general area if you don’t have one yet), event type (wedding, corporate, municipal, etc.), and rough timing for the show within your event. We come back with a specific quote within one business day for most requests.

Pricing

How much does a wedding fireworks show cost in Florida?

Most Florida wedding fireworks shows fall in a clear range based on duration, venue, and permit complexity. Two-minute moment shows start at one price band; five-minute pyromusical finales sit in another. Coastal and over-water shows that require barge work or Coast Guard notification add a meaningful premium. The exact number is set on the call once we hear about your venue and date.

How much does a municipal show cost?

Municipal shows range from intimate community events (a few thousand dollars for a brief show) to major holiday productions (tens of thousands for a multi-act pyromusical). Most cities have a budget already in mind when they issue a bid; we scope to whatever the budget supports.

Are there hidden costs I should know about?

No. Our quote includes the show, all permits, site survey, fallout calculations, fire watch fees where applicable, Coast Guard coordination for water shows, and post-show cleanup. The only thing not included is venue-specific fees (parking, security details required by the property) which would be quoted explicitly if applicable.

Permits

Do you handle the permits, or do I?

We do. Every booking includes site survey, permit application, fire marshal liaison, and Coast Guard notification for over-water shows. You don’t fill out anything.

What if my permit gets denied?

Permit denials are extremely rare for shows we book. If a permit is denied for reasons within our control (paperwork, timeline) we refund any deposit. If denied for reasons outside our control (last-minute fire ban, sudden venue policy change) the contract spells out the contingency.

Which Florida regions are you licensed to fire in?

We are licensed to fire pyrotechnic displays statewide, including the Florida Keys (through the Monroe County Fire Marshal’s Office). Over-water shows in the Keys also require Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary (NOAA) clearance and US Coast Guard notification, which we handle in-house. Service areas lists every region we cover.

Weather

What happens if it rains?

Light rain is fine. Heavy rain or lightning means we postpone the show or substitute cold spark and flame effects indoors. The exact terms (postponement window, refund logic) are spelled out in your contract.

What about hurricane season?

Hurricane season runs June through November in Florida. We track weather closely for shows in that window and have a clear postponement-or-refund clause in every contract. If a hurricane is in the forecast for your event date, we’ll be in touch days before to discuss options.

Insurance

Are you insured?

Yes. We carry comprehensive general liability coverage on every show. Certificates of insurance can be issued within two business days, with additional insureds named as your venue or municipality requires.

Can you name my venue as an additional insured?

Yes. Most venues require this; we handle it as a standard part of every booking. Just let us know who needs to be named.

Logistics

How much space do you need?

It depends on the size of the show. A small wedding finale might need a 200-foot fallout radius; a major municipal show might need 600 feet or more. We’ll do a site survey before the booking is finalized to confirm the venue can accommodate the planned show safely.

How loud is it?

Aerial fireworks are loud. We can scope shows toward more visual, less concussive product (lower-noise designs) for noise-sensitive venues; let us know if that matters for your event.

Will the show be over water?

If your venue is on the water, often yes. Over-water shows are spectacular and reduce the fallout footprint, but they require Coast Guard coordination and, where applicable, Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary clearance. We handle all of it.
