Wedding and event planners are the reason most of our weddings happen. You already do the hard part: finding the couple, building the relationship, designing the night, and managing eight other vendors who all think their part of the program is the most important. The last thing you need is a fireworks vendor who emails your client directly, takes credit on social, or shows up with a different version of the timeline.

That’s not how we work. With My 3 Sons Fireworks Company, you stay the lead. We slot in behind your client relationship, deliver the show into your run-of-show on the cue you call, and disappear into the night.

What working with us looks like.

One contract, one contact, one quote.

Pyrotechnics for a wedding involves the show, the permits, the site survey, the COI, the fire watch, the rehearsal coordination, and the post-show cleanup. You get one number for all of it. We don’t subcontract to a permit shop or refer you out to a venue coordinator. The same human on the call is on-site on the night.

Insurance to your venue, not to you.

We send the Certificate of Insurance directly to the venue’s risk team with both the property and your agency named as additional insureds. You’re copied on every email. You don’t chase paperwork.

Permits handled, planner notified.

We handle the entire permit stack: fire marshal, AHJ, Coast Guard for water shows, FKNMS for the Keys. You get a status update once permits are filed and again once they’re approved. You don’t fill out anything; you don’t make any phone calls. You get one email when something happens.

Rehearsal coordination.

We slot the cue into your run-of-show. If you do a rehearsal, we attend by video or in person depending on the show complexity. The cue file is finalized after your final timeline call so the show fires exactly where you call it, not where we guessed.

Day-of comms.

Your crew chief has your direct number from setup through cleanup. You have theirs. No “where is the fireworks person” moment. If your timeline shifts (because a timeline always shifts), we adapt without an email chain.

What we will not do.

The boundaries are as clear as the offer.

  • We will not contact your client without you. All comms route through you or include you. Always.
  • We will not take credit on social. Recap posts mention the venue and credit you (with permission). Your client is your relationship.
  • We will not undercut your planning fee or quote your client a different number. The quote we give you is the quote your client sees on the contract.
  • We will not show up with the wrong version of the timeline. If something changes at the rehearsal call, the cue file changes too.
  • We will not deliver a “highlight reel” on the night. The show is exactly what we briefed on the design call, no surprises.

Commission, white-label, or pass-through.

How you bill us is your call. We work three ways, your preference:

  • Commission structure. We pay a coordination fee (typically 10–15%) on contracts referred through you. Standard with no client-side markup.
  • White-label. The show appears on the couple’s contract under your agency. We invoice you, you invoice the client. Your agency name is on the COI; we’re the named vendor on the permit.
  • Pass-through. The couple contracts directly with us. We handle billing. You handle the planning. You get a planner-discount on the show fee in lieu of commission.

Whatever works for your business model. We’ll match it.

Who we already work with.

We’ve coordinated weddings and private events with planners across South Florida, Naples, Tampa Bay, Orlando, Jacksonville, and the Panhandle. Some recurring relationships are confidential by request; others are happy for us to share. If you want a reference from a planner in your market or with your client profile, ask, we’ll connect you.

Lead times for planners to know.

For couples already booked through you, here’s the timing you can quote with confidence:

  • Six months out: ideal. Comfortable on every Florida jurisdiction including the Keys.
  • Three months out: workable for most jurisdictions. Tight on Florida Keys over-water shows; we’d recommend land-based for shorter lead times.
  • 30 to 60 days: possible in many South Florida and Central Florida jurisdictions, but the venue’s fire marshal calendar drives the actual feasibility.
  • Less than 30 days: aerial shows are not workable in any Florida jurisdiction. Cold spark and theatrical flame effects have shorter approval windows (often a week) and produce dramatic indoor visuals; this is the rescue option.

Cold spark and flame effects, the planner’s secret weapon.

Cold spark machines and theatrical flame effects are venue-approved for indoor use, dramatic on camera, and approved by most hospitality insurance carriers. For tented receptions, ballroom finales, grand entrances, and first dances, this is often the show that fits the venue. Common use cases: grand entrance walking down the aisle, first dance, finale moment as the couple exits.

Indoor cold spark scopes typically run $1,500 to $4,500 depending on the number of effects and the duration. Often added on top of an aerial outdoor show as a “bookend” indoor moment.

For planners in adjacent service lines.

If you’re not a wedding planner but you produce events that might want fireworks (corporate event production, brand activations, hospitality program management, party production for high-net-worth households), the same partner model applies. The booking flow is slightly different (procurement requirements, longer lead times for corporate sign-off, additional COI requirements) but the relationship structure is the same.
